Meet the Board of Directors

Marty Sirvatka, President
Marty retired from public education in 2016 after serving most recently as choir director and Instructional Supervisor of the Fine Arts department at Glenbrook South High School in Glenview, IL. He has earned several degrees from the University of Illinois and Chicago’s Roosevelt University. Early in his career, Marty worked at Southview Middle School in Danville, Concordia University Chicago, and for nine years as the choir and orchestra director at the East and West Leyden High Schools in Franklin Park.  The Glen Ellyn Children’s Chorus commissioned him to arrange the moving spiritual, I’m Goin’ Up A Yonder, in 1986, which continues to be a favorite of choirs across the world.

In May, 2007 Mr. Sirvatka was pleased to accept the Glenbrook South Distinguished Teacher of the Year award, and the following year, Glenbrook South was named The National 2008 GRAMMY Signature School in honor of its outstanding music department. Last year, he was honored as one of three educators in the state to receive the Mary Hoffman Award of
Excellence for 2016. Most recently Marty has accepted an invitation to evaluate student teachers in the music education department of Northwestern University.

Lisa Fasana (Pierce), Vice President
Lisa is the SVP, managing director at Marketing Werks, an experiential marketing agency in Chicago. It is her curiosity in what fuels the human spirit that led her into marketing. Her passion for inspiring action and connecting with people continue to guide her work.
 
Music has always played a central role in Lisa’s life, starting with piano at a young age. Lisa found her voice while at GBS singing with Marty in multiple choirs and performances. He also sparked her interest in music theory which led to a minor in music composition from Miami University (BS in Marketing).
 
Her love for music has always provided a balancing counterpoint to her life. She is thrilled to leverage IMPRINT as a platform to connect others through the power of music.

Trent Snyder, Secretary
In his freshman year at NIU, Trent Snyder founded  a new vocal group, The NIU Huskie Hunks.  Within five years, he cultivated an a cappella community that is still growing today. In 2015 and 2016, he led The Hunks to Semifinals and even snagged an Outstanding Choreography award in 2015. Trent graduated with a B.A. in Music Business from Northern Illinois University in 2016 and he has continued his work as an arranger and clinician for A Cappella groups in the Chicagoland area.

Trent has worked for a variety of music production and entertainment companies such as Varsity Vocals, DMT Entertainment & Events, and the Rock House. He currently serves as a Production Assistant at Corporate Event Interactive.

Dann Schuth, Treasurer/Business Manager
For over a decade, Dann has been an educational administrator for both elementary and middle schools in the area.  Currently, he is working as an educational consultant for an area school district.  In 2016, Dann received his doctorate in educational leadership from Aurora University. 

Prior to being an administrator, Dann worked as a middle school teacher in English and Theatre Arts.  He has directed a number of main stage shows including Annie, Aladdin, The Music Man, Brigadoon, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Foreigner, Black Comedy and more.  He has also been producer for shows such as The Secret Garden, Tommy, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Nicki Padron-Glass, Event Chair
For the past five years, Nicki has taught third and fourth grade Spanish at Half Day School in Lincolnshire. She recently graduated with her Master’s degree in School Counseling from Northeastern Illinois University. Nicki spent this past summer in Granada, Spain where she began her second Master’s Degree in Spanish Education at the University of Granada.

Nicki also performs with various community theatre groups in the Chicagoland area. Her favorite roles include Polly in Crazy for You (Fremont Street Theatre Company) and Judy in A Chorus Line (Highland Park Players). Her love for theatre and music empower her to be a more successful teacher and embolden her love for language.
